WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Susan Collins and Angus King announced today that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded $5,840,041 to support research at Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor.
“Jackson Laboratory has consistently been a leader in the field of biomedical research and has made significant breakthroughs in developmental genetics.” said Senators Collins and King in a joint statement. “This funding will help ensure that Jackson Lab has the resources it needs to improve human health and continue to be at the forefront of genetic research.”
