The Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) funding opportunity allows members of Congress to secure federal funding for specific projects in Maine. This opportunity is only available to nonprofit organizations and state and local governments. For-profit entities are not eligible for CDS funds.

In accordance with the Standing Rules of the Senate, Senator King makes publicly available all CDS project requests submitted for FY2026. The bills listed below were open to requests for CDS projects. These disclosures will be released in accordance with deadlines set by the Senate Appropriations Committee.
